The quick version manual to your new custom foot orthotics:
In the guide above, you’ll find lots of information regarding our process and about your new orthoses. Here are the take home points to consider when breaking in your Orthoses:
- Break them in slowly
- Keep the original in-soles with you for the first few days incase they are needed
- Within a week or two you should be able to comfortably wear your orthoses for the full day
- Be sure you are comfortable using your orthoses for everyday activities before you try them for athletics
- Please call us with any issues! Usually, adjustments can be easily made in-office
- They should be easily movable between shoes meant to accept orthoses
- Do your worst to them! They can handle it, but will require the occasional cleaning
- Remember to replace your shoes at regular intervals (1-2 years on average)
- And last of all- We’re here to help at any point through email or a call. Don’t ever think you need to persevere if something is not comfortable
