What is Plantar Fasciitis?
Plantar fasciitis (commonly felt as heel or arch pain) is an inflammation of the fascia, which is the tissue that connects your heel bone to the base of your toes. Some say plantar fasciitis is truly inflammation, while others argue that the tissues are degrading.
Symptoms
The most common symptoms are pain at the base of your heel, or in the arch of your foot, after long periods of rest. The pain could be dull, stabbing, achy or even a burning sensation.
