Paula Toye, BA (PHE), Dip SIM, C Ped, C Ped (C)
A Certified Pedorthist with both Canadian and American designations, Paula Toye brings a wealth of diverse knowledge and over 20 years of clinical experience to her patients. As a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education, she continued her post-graduate education at Sheridan College in the Sports Injury Management Program.
Paula is known for her detailed clinical skills and has built a reputation amongst health care professionals as “the one who will honestly tell you if you really need orthotics or not” She believes it’s not just about the orthotics but also the importance of footwear. Known as the “Shoe Guru” by her patients and colleagues, Paula acts as a consultant for a group of footwear retailers in Toronto.
With her years of experience with recreational and elite athletes, Paula’s pedorthic practices in Toronto and Brampton specialize in sports injuries and orthopaedic conditions. She is passionate about promoting footwear education and health and wellness through educational seminars and the media.
Paula is a former provincial athlete who strives to maintain a healthy balanced lifestyle through spinning, hiking, yoga, meditation and Pilates with the occasional glass of wine.
